The core steps from 110mm to 70mm and in doing so offers a huge 64% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler. It also offers a 30% increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the very most of the air flow provided.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inlet side of the intercooler retains a 50mm diameter to ensure minimal turbo lag whilst the outlet side increases to 60mm to offer less restriction.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTogether with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air diverter to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDespite this improvement, the kit fits neatly behind the original bumper and requires no trimming or cutting, and can be reverted back to standard with no issues.
