The ITG Maxogen cold air intake scoop is one of the most effective and practical air intake upgrades available for the GR Yaris — and it's the one fitted to our own demo car. Manufactured by ITG, one of the UK's most respected filtration specialists, this 3D-printed scoop is engineered specifically for the GR Yaris to route colder, denser air to the engine rather than the hot air recycled in the standard airbox location.
Cold air is denser than hot air — which means more oxygen per intake stroke, more combustion, and more power. It's one of the most fundamental and reliable engine performance principles, and the ITG scoop exploits it cleanly.

Does it work with a remap?
Yes — and the two complement each other well. The ITG scoop improves the air charge feeding the engine; a remap calibrates the fuelling and boost to take full advantage of it. We regularly combine both upgrades as part of our GR Yaris engine packages.
