AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit for Toyota Yaris GR Gen 2

AIRTEC's oil cooler kit for the Gen 2 GR Yaris keeps oil temperature under control on track and on long, fast drives. It adds an 82°C thermostatically controlled sandwich plate, so oil only flows through the cooler once the engine is warm. The engine still warms up quickly on cold mornings and stays cool when you're pushing on.

Compatibility

This kit doesn't fit with the AIRTEC Stage 3 intercooler for the Gen 2. If you're fitting that, use the Stage 3 oil cooler for the Gen 2. For the 2020–2024 car, see the Gen 1 kit.

AIRTEC notes that, being a motorsport part, it can pass slightly more engine vibration into the cabin.

Questions we get asked

Why does the thermostat matter?
Oil that's too cold wears an engine faster than oil at the right temperature. The thermostat keeps the cooler out of the circuit until the oil reaches 82°C.
