The optional Akrapovič Sound Kit gives drivers of the new BMW G90 / G99 M5 the power to control their exhaust sound from inside the vehicle.
Designed to work seamlessly with selected Akrapovič car exhaust systems, including the Slip-On Line (Titanium) and Evolution Link Pipe Set, the Sound Kit allows you to effortlessly switch between a more refined, quiet mode and a louder, sportier exhaust tone, depending on your driving mood and environment.
The system operates via a receiver module (pre-installed as part of the Evolution system), which communicates with actuators that control the position of the exhaust valves. With the included Akrapovič Sound Remote Controller, you can regulate the valve position in real time — either fully open for maximum sound or regulated for a more subtle acoustic profile.
