String Theory Garage will be closed to the public from Wednesday, 29th July to Thursday, 6th August for our annual shutdown.
If you need to get in touch, please leave us a voicemail or send an email. Our team will happily get back to you when we return on Friday, 7th August.
Shopping online? Don't worry! Our online store will remain active! We hope to ship orders placed for in-stock items as normal during the shutdown. Anything else will be dealt with upon our return.
Thank you for your understanding, String Theory Garage Team
Model 3s carry their weight low and centrally thanks to the battery pack, which already makes them a decent handling platform — but the factory ride height and soft, comfort-biased spring rates leave a fair bit on the table. Eibach's Pro-Kit lowers the car, cuts the arch gap and firms up body control, while remaining compatible with the factory dampers.
Technical specification
Lowering: 25mm front / 25mm rear
Max axle load: 1115kg front / 1265kg rear
Spring design: Progressive-rate, tested on factory dampers
Part numbers: E10-87-001-03-22 (AWD/Performance AWD) / E10-87-001-07-22 & E10-87-001-08-22 (RWD)
Fitment
Tesla Model 3 EV RWD — 01.2017 onwards
Tesla Model 3 EV AWD / EV Performance AWD — 06.2018 onwards
Something to bear in mind on an EV
The extra static weight of the battery pack means a lowered Model 3 is a little less forgiving of worn dampers than an equivalent petrol car — if the car's done a lot of miles, it's worth having the dampers checked at the same time as fitting new springs.
