KW V3 Coilovers - BMW G80 M3 / G82 M4

The G80 M3 and G82 M4 are big, heavy cars, and the factory adaptive dampers are a compromise between comfort and control. The KW V3 replaces them with stainless coilovers that have separate rebound and compression adjustment, so you decide where that compromise sits, and you can lower the car to the stance you want.

What you get

• KW V3 inox-line struts and dampers with KW's recommended spring rates for the M3 saloon and M4 coupe
• 16 clicks of rebound and 12 clicks of compression adjustment, each set on its own
• Continuous ride-height adjustment on a dirt-resistant trapezoid thread
• On RWD cars, a deactivation kit for the adaptive dampers is included. We'll confirm what's supplied for xDrive cars when we quote

RWD or xDrive? Saloon, coupe or Touring?

KW makes different kits for rear-wheel-drive and xDrive G8X cars, so tell us which you have when you order. The M3 Touring has its own kit: see the KW V3 for the G81 M3 Touring. If you have a G83 M4 Convertible, ask us and we'll check the right part number.

How it compares

Want to keep the adaptive damper modes? The KW height adjustable spring kit lowers the car on your factory dampers for a fraction of the price. Doing regular track days? The KW V4 Clubsport for the G80/G82 is built for it. Prefer a single, simple adjuster? Look at the AST 5100 Street for the M3 G80 RWD or M4 G82 RWD.

Questions we get asked

Will my car feel harsher?
It depends how you set it. With the dampers towards the soft end, most owners find it better controlled without being harsher than standard. We set it up to suit how you use the car.

Do I lose the M Drive damper settings?
Yes. The V3 replaces the adaptive dampers. If keeping those settings matters to you, choose the KW HAS kit.
