With increased boost pressure the cheap OE plastic pipework can be prone to splitting or cracking - it's more a question of 'when' than 'if' you'll experience boost leaks. By fitting the MMX lightweight aluminium replacement chargepipes, you can be assured of reliability even at significantly increased power outputs.
The smooth bore pipework improves airflow versus the OE setup and prevents any deformation of the pipes under load or vacuum. The MMX chargepipes also improve throttle response and ultimately, power output.
