MMX Differential Dual Mount (No Bush) — BMW F8x M2, M3 & M4

The MMX Dual Differential Mount (MMR55-1001) brings a second rear mounting point into play on the F8x M2, M3 and M4 — a point BMW left unused from the factory. The result is a stiffer connection between the differential and the chassis, and noticeably less drivetrain movement under load.

F8x diff mounts are a well-known weak spot, prone to tearing and early failure when the car is used hard. Rather than simply fitting stiffer rubber in the same single mount, the Dual Mount adds genuine extra support.

Two positions, one mount

• OEM position — fitted on its own, it adds the second support point. Run it with the factory bushes for a like-for-like feel, or with two MMX Rear Diff Mount Bushes (MMR55-1603) for a firmer, more connected setup.
• Lifted position (+10mm) — combined with the MMX Front Differential Lift Mount / Cradle (MMR55-1604), it raises the differential by 10mm. This corrects driveshaft angles on lowered cars, cutting heat and premature wear on the CV joints and axle shafts.
