The MMX Performance Aluminium DCT Gearbox Pan is a precision-engineered upgrade for BMW F8x M2, M3 and M4 models, replacing the factory plastic DCT sump pan with a high-performance billet aluminium alternative designed for the demands of fast road and track use.
Precision-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminium, the MMX DCT Pan features increased oil capacity, integrated cooling fins, internal baffling to prevent oil starvation under hard cornering and acceleration, and additional -8AN ports for connection to external oil cooling systems.
Why Upgrade Your DCT Sump Pan?
The factory DCT sump holds a limited volume of transmission fluid and offers no protection against oil starvation during sustained track use or aggressive cornering. Under these conditions, the gearbox oil can surge away from the pickup, leading to overheating, reduced lubrication quality, and accelerated clutch and bearing wear. The MMX DCT Pan addresses all of this in a single upgrade.
