The Ohlins Road & Track DFV is widely regarded as one of the finest road-biased coilover kits available for the Porsche 991. It transforms the 911's ride and handling without turning it into a track-only car — making it the natural choice for owners who want a dramatically improved driving experience on both road and circuit.
The key is Ohlins' patented DFV (Dual Flow Valve) technology. Rather than separate compression and rebound adjusters, the DFV system uses a single bleed adjuster that controls both simultaneously — one knob, consistent feel, immediately noticeable improvement. Road & Track: what does that mean in practice?
The Ohlins Road & Track range sits between Ohlins' street-comfort and full motorsport offerings. On road, the DFV delivers a firmer-than-standard but genuinely comfortable ride — noticeably more controlled than OEM, without the harshness of a track-focused kit. On track, simply increase the damping adjustment and you have a capable, consistent setup for circuit days.
We've fitted these to numerous 991s at our premises and the feedback is consistently the same: the car feels like a different machine. Turn-in sharpens, body roll reduces, and the communication through the steering wheel improves dramatically.
