Pumaspeed Racing Re-Active Intercooler Kit – Toyota GR Yaris
The Pumaspeed Racing Re-Active Intercooler is a direct replacement for the restrictive factory intercooler on the Toyota GR Yaris — manufactured entirely in the UK and CAD-designed from Pumaspeed's own 3D under-bonnet scans for precise, no-cutting fitment.
The stock cooler is a simple box with restrictive end tanks, and OE pipework that drops below 35mm internal diameter in places — nowhere near enough for anything above 300bhp. The Re-Active kit replaces it with a super-efficient tube and fin core, high-flow cast alloy end tanks and a matching high-performance boost pipe kit, engineered to minimise lag and maximise heat rejection on road and track.

Why 57mm pipework?
The GR Yaris throttle body bore is close to 50mm — capable of flowing over 400bhp — so we matched the pipework and end tank couplings to it without over-specifying. We've proven the same core and pipe sizing flowing over 500bhp on our 1.6 EcoBoost Fiesta platform, so 57mm is plenty and adds no lag.
On the dyno, the stock GR Yaris intercooler was recorded hitting intake air temps above 43°C — enough to trigger the ECU's 50°C power-down safety cut. The Re-Active core is built to keep IATs down and power consistent, lap after lap. Backed by our 2-year unlimited-mileage warranty.
