If you're working on the exhaust of a Porsche 996, you've almost certainly already encountered seized manifold bolts — or you will. It's one of the most common and frustrating maintenance headaches on the platform. The OEM steel studs corrode into the aluminium head over time, and removing them becomes a job that can spiral from a simple gasket change into a cylinder head-off rebuild.
This titanium stud kit is the permanent fix. Titanium doesn't corrode against aluminium in the way steel does, which means these studs come out cleanly if you ever need to remove them again — next year or a decade from now.

Technical details
Material: Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V) — lighter than steel, stronger than necessary, and crucially non-reactive with aluminium
Weight saving vs OEM steel studs: approximately 60%
Temperature rating: suitable for sustained high-temperature exhaust use
Thread: OEM-spec — direct replacement, no modifications required
Also available for Porsche 997 and 991 GT3 — see our other listings.
When should I fit these?
Ideally when the exhaust is already off — during a header swap, turbo rebuild, or manifold gasket replacement. Fitting these while you have access costs nothing extra and eliminates the risk of seized studs for the lifetime of the car. We fit them as standard whenever a 996 exhaust comes off at our premises.
