AST Suspension 5100 Street 1-way Adjustable Coilovers - BMW M4 G82 RWD

The AST 5100 Street gives the rear-wheel-drive G82 M4 a single, easy damping adjuster and a much more controlled ride than the factory set-up. It's a monotube, gas-pressurised damper designed for fast road driving that still copes with the odd track day, and you can lower the car to the stance you want.

What you get

• AST 5100 Street dampers and springs for the G82 M4 RWD, at AST's recommended spring rates
• One adjuster with 12 positions. Each click changes mostly rebound with a little compression, so the effect is easy to feel
• Inverted front struts to handle cornering and braking loads
• Height-adjustable ride height
• Runs your factory top mounts, or choose the With Top Mounts option for solid mounts with camber adjustment at the front

Why one adjuster is enough

Multi-way dampers give you more to play with, but most drivers never touch them. Twelve clear steps from soft to firm means you can actually use the adjustment: softer for the commute, a few clicks firmer for a track day. If you do want separate adjustment, see the KW V3.

Fitment

For the G82 M4 Coupe RWD. xDrive cars need the G82 xDrive kit. AST uses the same RWD kit for the G80 M3 and G87 M2.

Do I lose the M Drive damper settings?
Yes. The AST dampers replace the adaptive units, and you set the damping by hand.
