Sound

The Slip-On Line transforms the BMW M3 / M4’s exhaust note, unlocking its true character. At cruising speeds, the system delivers a smooth, refined tone, while acceleration produces a deeper, more aggressive growl that perfectly complements the car’s sporty nature. Enhanced natural overrun provides controlled pops and burbles, adding excitement to every gear change. With the advanced Akrapovič Control Kit regulating exhaust flow and tailoring the sound profile, the system ensures precise sound management in all driving conditions, all while eliminating intrusive droning.

Performance

Designed to optimise performance, the Slip-On Line (Titanium) delivers measurable gains that elevate the driving experience of the BMW M3 and M4. Its freer-flowing exhaust design reduces back pressure, improving gas flow and enabling the engine to respond more efficiently. Akrapovič’s dyno testing confirms a power increase of +10.9 hp at 6,000 rpm and +10.3 ft-lb of torque at 5,000 rpm, resulting in sharper throttle response and stronger acceleration. The system also reduces weight by 8.3 kg—35% lighter than the stock exhaust, improving agility, cornering precision, and overall handling. These benefits are achieved without the need for ECU remapping, ensuring seamless installation and compatibility with the factory setup of the M3 and M4.

Design

The Slip-On Line is as visually striking as it is functional. Featuring a smaller, sleeker back box, it replaces the bulkier standard unit with a design that is cleaner, lighter, and more purposeful. Akrapovič’s attention to detail is evident in every element, with components such as the valve housings and collectors cast in their in-house titanium foundry, ensuring durability and precision.

Two tailpipe designs are available: a bold octagonal option with carbon fibre outer sleeves or a classic cylindrical style. Both add a premium, motorsport-inspired finish while reducing overall weight, perfectly complementing the M3/M4’s aggressive styling.
