Akrapovič's downpipe set for the S58 engine is designed to work with its titanium Slip-On Line and Evolution Link Pipe Set. It replaces the factory downpipes with stainless pipes and high-flow 200-cell sports catalysts. The result is a sharper, more racing-style sound with plenty of response at high revs, without drone.
Specification
- Stainless steel downpipes with heat-insulated 200-cpsi sports catalytic converters
- Front sections cast in Akrapovič's own foundry for an exact fit
- Designed to pair with the Akrapovič Slip-On Line (Titanium) and Evolution Link Pipe Set (Titanium)
- Fits BMW M2 G87 (2023–2024), M3 G80/G81 (2021–2024) and M4 G82/G83 (2021–2024), OPF/GPF and non-OPF
- Also fits xDrive, CSL, M3 Touring and M4 Competition Convertible models
- Akrapovič part number: DP-BM/SS/8
Important
Akrapovič states that an ECU remap is mandatory to prevent warning lights, and that this product is for racetrack and closed-course use only. Please make sure that suits how you'll use the car before ordering.
Other G8X exhaust options
Milltek also makes a large-bore downpipe for the G8X. For a road-legal upgrade, see the Milltek valved axle-back or, for the M2, the Milltek resonated OPF-back.
Fitting at String Theory Garage
We can fit the downpipes and arrange the mapping in one visit. We can fit this in our own workshop and check everything over before the car goes back to you. Get in touch when you order and we'll book a slot. See our workshop services for what else we do.
