String Theory Garage will be closed to the public from Wednesday, 29th July to Thursday, 6th August for our annual shutdown.
If you need to get in touch, please leave us a voicemail or send an email. Our team will happily get back to you when we return on Friday, 7th August.
Shopping online? Don't worry! Our online store will remain active! We hope to ship orders placed for in-stock items as normal during the shutdown. Anything else will be dealt with upon our return.
Thank you for your understanding, String Theory Garage Team
After the success of the original ITG Maxogen, ITG continued their development of this fantastic product. We are now stocking the Maxogen EVO2.
ITG's latest development for the GR Yaris is their Maxogen cold-air induction kit.
The kit consists of a 3d printed intake scoop, an aluminium airbox (very similar to those ITG supply to the Honda BTCC cars) fitted with a foam filter inside, and a machined aluminium pipe with a boss to fit the OE MAF.
The kit has been proven to reduce air intake temperatures by up to 15 degrees Celsius and improve induction noise.
Videos now available at the end of the gallery above.
We have just fitted one of these to our own Yaris GR and conducted some live intake-temp monitoring on track, and saw around 15 degrees Celsius reduction in intake temps over standard, with definite increases in responsiveness and a freer-revving top end.
