String Theory Garage will be closed to the public from Wednesday, 29th July to Thursday, 6th August for our annual shutdown.
If you need to get in touch, please leave us a voicemail or send an email. Our team will happily get back to you when we return on Friday, 7th August.
Shopping online? Don't worry! Our online store will remain active! We hope to ship orders placed for in-stock items as normal during the shutdown. Anything else will be dealt with upon our return.
Thank you for your understanding, String Theory Garage Team
Same idea as on the 911: if your 981 Boxster has factory PASM, lowering it on springs alone will leave the adaptive damper system working off the wrong reference height. Pro-Tronic corrects that recalibration issue so PASM continues to function as intended once the car is lowered.
Technical specification
Function: Recalibrates factory PASM after lowering
Fitment: Plug-and-play module
Pairs with: Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs on PASM-equipped cars
Warranty: Eibach 5-year warranty
Part number: AM65-72-012-02-22
Fitment
Porsche Boxster (981), all engines with factory PASM — 04.2012 onwards
Do I need this?
Only if your 981 was optioned with PASM — check your build sheet or send us your VIN and we'll confirm. Cars without PASM don't need this module.
We fit this in the same session as your spring upgrade — no extra workshop time needed.
