MMX OEM Differential Dual Mount — BMW G8x M2, M3 & M4
The MMX Performance Dual Differential Mount has been purpose-designed to reinforce one of the most crucial components of the G8x M2, M3 and M4 drivetrain. By utilising the factory secondary bush mounting hole, it significantly increases differential stability under high-load acceleration and dynamic driving — adding a second point of support to improve rigidity, reduce unwanted movement, and sharpen driveline response under load.
Why Fit the MMX Differential Dual Mount?
Under hard acceleration and aggressive cornering, the single-mount differential arrangement in the G8x can allow excessive movement that reduces traction, blunts drivetrain response, and in extreme cases contributes to diff and CV seal weeping. The MMX dual mount eliminates this by adding a second, solid contact point using the factory secondary mounting hole — no modification required.
The mount offers OEM fitment with no modification required. It bolts directly to the factory differential with the factory sump retained — meaning there is no need to remove or replace the OEM sump, and no fluids need to be drained. The mount can be removed at any time and returned to stock.
Designed for versatility, it provides perfect fitment with the OEM rubber bush (33 31 6 899 168), as well as with aftermarket polyurethane or solid differential bushes.
