Developed for racetrack use, the Evolution Link Pipe removes the standard OPF/GPF, reduces weight, and requires mandatory ECU remapping to unlock its full potential.
Sound
The Evolution Link Pipe further refines the Yaris’s exhaust tone, adding depth and character to its three-cylinder engine. A tuned resonator in the centre of the link pipe is precisely calibrated to create a rich, sporty sound with no droning or unwanted streaming. The Akrapovič Evolution Link Pipe is engineered to deliver measurable performance gains that complement the Slip-On Race Line (Titanium). Dyno-tested by Akrapovič, the combination of the Link Pipe and Slip-On system achieves a power increase of 18.4 hp and 16.1 ft-lb of torque at 5,900 rpm, providing sharper throttle response and stronger acceleration. Additionally, the link pipe reduces weight by 0.9 kg, making it 19.6% lighter than the stock equivalent. These benefits transform the Yaris into a more dynamic and capable performance machine, ensuring a thrilling driving experience.
